Object Atlas
Every object in Planetki is another step in a cosmic puzzle. Merge two matching bodies, create a larger one and gradually work your way towards the Sun.
Below you will find the objects from the game along with short facts about their real counterparts in space.

Object sizes and order have been adapted for gameplay. The Atlas does not represent the true proportions of the Solar System!

Asteroid
In the game
The smallest object and the starting point of the game. It fits easily between larger planets.
Astronomy
Asteroids are small rocky bodies orbiting the Sun. Many of them are found in the belt between Mars and Jupiter.
Moon
In the game
The first larger object. It is created by merging two Asteroids.
Astronomy
The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite. Its surface is covered with craters left by ancient impacts.
Mercury
In the game
A small rocky planet and one of the first objects you will create on the board.
Astronomy
Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, but contrary to popular belief, it is not the hottest planet in the Solar System.
Mars
In the game
The Red Planet is easy to recognise, but it already takes up noticeably more space.
Astronomy
Mars gets its rusty colour mainly from iron compounds found on its surface.
Venus
In the game
A bright planet surrounded by a thick layer of clouds.
Astronomy
Venus is the hottest planet in the Solar System. Its dense atmosphere acts like a giant greenhouse.
Earth
In the game
A blue planet with oceans and continents. You are roughly halfway to the Sun.
Astronomy
Earth is the only place in the Universe known to support life.
Neptune
In the game
A dark blue ice giant and another step towards the largest planets.
Astronomy
Neptune is the most distant planet in the Solar System. Exceptionally strong winds blow through its atmosphere.
Uranus
In the game
A pale turquoise ice giant, much larger than the objects that came before it.
Astronomy
Uranus has an extremely tilted axis. It looks as though it rolls around the Sun on its side.
Saturn
In the game
Its distinctive rings make it difficult to confuse with anything else.
Astronomy
Saturn's rings are not solid. They are made of billions of small fragments of ice and rock.
Jupiter
In the game
The largest planet in the game. Once you create it, only one step remains before the Sun.
Astronomy
Jupiter is the largest planet in the Solar System. Its famous Great Red Spot is an enormous storm that has been raging for centuries.
Sun
In the game
The largest object on the board and your main goal in Planetki.
Astronomy
The Sun is the star at the centre of the Solar System. It provides Earth with light and the energy needed for life.
